Designed by ZGF Architects over a 12 year period, the Sanctuary at the Mark is an historic land marked temple now saddled by a 40+ floor tower, housing a 14 floor luxury hotel with a Phillipe Starck design, as well as tech behemoth F5. Shooting all the interiors spaces and key exteriors consumed over a week of fun city scouting.
Lara was commission by historic preservation architecture firm A&E out of Montana to document approximately 15 historic hotels and auxiliary structures in Yellowstone National Park early June, from Old Faithful Hotel and Lodge to Bridge, Lake Hotel and cabins, Roosevelt Lodge and cabins, Mammoth Hotel + Art Deco auxiliary bldgs in Gardiner, embarking upon a road trip odyssey in the perfect time of summer to be on site.
On a amazingly private lot, hidden above the Fauntleroy Ferry terminal, this light filled house is the dream design of architect Gustavo Penengo for his sweet family, returning to SW Seattle after a long stint in NYC.
