A sweet interior renovation for YS Built in the historic Talisman Apartment building on First Hill, the winter sunshine came through after a mini snow storm to cast fantastic light into this west facing unit.

A fantastic new project on the WSU campus, OKA took an existing utility buidling that housed campus police and fire departments, and added gallery space wrapped in red glass cladding to create a new art museum.

Shooting the new event space Block41, carved out of a former ice factory, the ever inventive team at Graham Baha Architects really pulled out the stops with steel interventions and moving partitions.

In late October 2017, Lara was commissioned by MSR Design of Minneapolis to shoot the amazing transformation of a former historic gymnasium building on Haverford's pastoral campus, into the state of the art VCAM: Visual Culture, Arts + Media building. It's since won numerous design awards including a 2018 AIA Minnesota Honor as well as an AIA CAE and several IIDA awards. A pleasure working with the creative talent at MSR on this one!

The ambitious Progetto Porta Nuova in Milan's commercial core is a first rate example of urban renewal, with fantastic landscaping, pedestrian walks, and a host of great new mixed use, residential and high rise architecture, including the Bosco Verticale.
