After many failed attempts with dicey weather, we were finally able to jump a sea plane and make it up to San Juan's Friday Harbor to capture LA architects and artists, Luis Coluosanno and Hattie Hatch's whimsical island home.

Loved shooting in the Echo Park neighborhood of West LA, where a former bank then laundromat building proudly houses the latest concept Starbucks Reserve, with incredible macrame art by installation artist Jim Olarte.

In a blighted part of suburban Portland, Holst Architecture brought vibrancy and color
to a busy street in the form of the new Open School, B&GC, and New Avenues complex,
and I was able to capture a few patches of blue on an otherwise bleak winter day.
