Lara photographed the nearly completed president's house at the University of Idaho in Moscow, for design architects, zimmerraystudios, in a rare opportunity to capture a new space sans furnishings or inhabitants. This house recycled its predecessor's foundation, fireplace and front doors.
In the epicenter of Seattle, in a building that sat derelict for 20 years, the State Hotel emerged as one of the go-to new boutique hotels, shot for preservation architects Building Works, Weinstein AU, Columbia Hospitality and Lake Union Partners.

Commissioned by the branding team at Hornall Anderson, Curator Films, and SkB Architects, Lara documented the new NHL Seattle preview space on the site of the historic Pacific Science Center, with fantastic interactive displays, artifacts and hypergraphics, screening room and ticket sales area.
