This new lower school addition to the esteemed FWCD School campus in suburban Fort Worth, TX, was design architects Lake|Flato to complete the sprawling school's K-8 mission and integrate the 1st-4th graders into the larger whole. Lara's team arrived on site with just a single day to capture kids in situ, before they were dismissed for conference week.

Designed by Kieran Timberlake Architecture of Philadelphia to connect the myriad 30+ engineering buildings on the UW campus in Seattle, Lara was retained to capture the new hub on a bright late autumn day this fall.

Retained by Miller Hull Partnership and working closely with their San Diego office, Lara and crew had the exciting opportunity to capture the newly reopened library full of student life and activity.

In the Southeast outskirts of Portland, OR, the new Mt. Scott Community Center by the design team at FFA Architects encompasses a vast array of classes and is a neighborhood hub for fitness and community gathering. Lucky to have been able to capture it on a full sunshine & blue skies day, with angling light reaching deep into the main volume throughout the day.

On the Northeast edge of Portland, OR, this new affordable housing community designed by Lever Architecture, offers 2 wings of contiguous modular housing, all centered around a mass timber sport court, playground, and community rooms.
