Scott Community Center by the design team at FFA Architects encompasses a vast array of classes and is a neighborhood hub for fitness and community gathering. Lucky to have been able to capture it on a full sunshine & blue skies day, with angling light reaching deep into the main volume throughout the day.
On the Northeast edge of Portland, OR, this new affordable housing community designed by Lever Architecture, offers 2 wings of contiguous modular housing, all centered around a mass timber sport court, playground, and community rooms.
This ambitious addition to a Carnagie Library in the Alberta neighborhood of Portland really showcases the design talents of Lever Architects, in their innovative use of custom brick siding and mass timber interior structure. Shooting over a 2-month, 3-day window, the aim was to capture the project in diverse times of day with various qualities of light.
The 2nd phase of the new Missoula Airport, by A&E Design, proved challenging to shoot on all levels that a busy airport presents, though ultimately captured best at night when all the flights were gone and the place was allowed to glow.
