Designed by the massive talent of Lever Architecture, the Louisa Flowers is a low income and transitional housing project in the heart of NE Portland, which cuts graceful wedges through the urban canyon and sky with its unique and undulating forms and facade. Lara was retained for a return shoot to capture exterior spaces and street vibe.
A design collaboration between the veteran midwest library design firm MSR, and Montana's own A+E Design, the new Missoula Library is a destination and end unto itself; incorporating community arts and media groups, local radio and the childrens museum, the place is abuzz with great energy and ever shifting light by way of a central atrium core.
Just off campus ar University of Oklahoma (OU) in the town of Norman outside OCK, Lara and crew traveled late spring to capture this finished just "pre-pandemic" newest regional library hub, amidst a host of wildflowers, with helf from design partner, Matt K, and project lead, Byoungjin L. of MSR Design, Minneapolis
Lara was retained by Weinstein A|U to capture the shiney new fire stations in the South Seattle burb of Tukwila, with full participation from TFD crew, on a few blazing summer days late June. Both are classic modern designs, in primary red and black, with engineering by Coughlin Porter Lundeen and general contracting by Lydig.
